Because literally it was a tent made up of aqua polyester. It had a zipper but tied on the sides???? Too long. Those sleeves are horrible! bleh!
So I cut off some of the bottom. Took some of the dress in and fixed the armholes. Wow the dress already looked so much nicer!!!
Then for some reason, I wanted to add some pearls to the bodice, after I got rid of the ugly, I realized I had a nice Tiffany blue dress. So I blinged the bodice with pearls I had in my stash!
First, I just took the larger pearls and outlined the area I wanted to fill in.
Then I randomly scattered the larger pearls throughout the entire area (I used all of them! yay!). Next I took the next size below and added. And then filled in with smaller sizes so you could barely see the blue underneath. Done!
I love this dress so much! The color is great. The pearls let me not have to wear a necklace. It is now breakfast at tiffany's and no longer aqua tent! :) 14 days down 46 more days to go! For all of my 60 days to dc blogging posts click here.
