Easy turtleneck fix, refashion #94

This was one of the tops, I thought I would wear "as is" but I realized I did not care for the lower band of fabric.

Got to love funny photos when the camera takes and you are not ready.... lol enjoy

This was an easy fix. I cut off the lower band and then used my twin needle to stitch up the bottom. Boom done!

Much more wearable now! Sometimes simple is just better! Refashions don't have to be complicated.

Quick striped shirt refashion, refashion #30

This top was brand new when I thrifted it at the store. But it was a 2X

I thought it was cute and longer shirts are needed for the upcoming startup with lifting and moving things. I really liked the colors.

Simply all I did was take it in along the sleeves and down the sides. I finished it with my serger (which I now have- that's another story!). Then I needed to finish the bottom hem. I serged off the old hem and then created a new one. Done!

And because pictures are not complete with out a cat bomb, here you go!

Here is the comparison shot. Pretty fast and easy. :) 30 refashions done! Yeah!! Almost a 1/3!

Black ruffle shirt fix! Refashion #15

I actually purchased this shirt b/c well I love ruffles but there is a band at the bottom that wound up causing the top to poof....

Also as soon as I put it on the button fell off. Yet again another item I have purchased from Tulle just isn't up to par. The other was the flowered shirt. I digress.. I need to fix this top!

Basically what I did was remove the band from the button but left the button holes. I undid the pleats and redid them. Essentially now they are sort of moved and a little towards the back and sides. Now I don't look pregnant.

Never again will I buy clothing from the store Tulle. I have had so many issues with ill-fitting clothing or things just falling apart as soon as I put the clothing on. Even though I got them on clearance, not worth the money.
